Hey there! I'm Rachel, a Georgia native who found her way to Nashville through the music industry. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Music Business, I settled in Nashville in 2011, where I met my amazing husband, Ben.

The journey into motherhood transformed my life in unexpected ways. Following the birth of my first child, I discovered a deep passion for breastfeeding and the incredible bond it fosters between mother and baby. Inspired by this experience, I embarked on a mission to help other moms navigate their breastfeeding journey with as much joy and confidence as I found.

During my second pregnancy, I decided to turn my passion into a profession. I pursued a Masters degree in Human Lactation and earned my IBCLC certification, driven by a desire to support and empower new families. Over the past year, I've had the privilege of volunteering at the Ascension Saint Thomas Breastfeeding Outreach Clinic, providing invaluable guidance to families during those critical early days.

To provide the highest quality care, I completed extensive training and mentorship under Chelsea, who designed a specialized infant course for me. During a comprehensive internship, I refined my skills alongside Chelsea, acquiring the expertise needed to excel in my field. Additionally, I have completed CEU training in Tethered Oral Tissue Specialty from Chrysalis Orofacial and am currently pursuing the Oral Habilitation of the Breastfeeding Dyad: A Master Class for IBCLCs.

Today, I'm proud to offer lactation and infant oral motor sessions to moms in need, helping them embark on their breastfeeding journey with confidence and ease. I schedule appointments at our offices in Franklin and Mt. Juliet as well as Lactation home visits (within 20 miles of Mt. Juliet) and insurance often covers them.
